Graduating Class

Elite has always foreseen brilliant futures for each and every one of the students we mentor at Hedgepeth Williams Middle school. Today, we are proud to announce that these students took their first steps towards these bright futures when they graduated from the Eighth grade. Throughout the ceremony, we could not help but remember the timid faces we initially approached at the beginning of the year and reflect on the close bonds we have formed. We have taught them how to write poetry, introduced them to photography, brought them on visits to our college campus, and stressed pride in their school and community, but if there is one thing we would like for them to get out of our short time with them it is this:

You are capable of achieving excellence in whatever you decide to pursue. Have confidence in yourself and always be positive leaders in the midst of negative influence.

We are not neglecting there will be times of disappointment, but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions. It may not be easy, but those struggles will help you find a stronger sense of who you are. If you constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction you will see yourself developing into the person you have always wanted to be.

Class of 2012, we wish you the best. We truly hope that our lessons and the time we spent together will help you grow to be Educated Leaders with the Innovation and Tenacity to Evolve.
