the OPPORTUNITY

We greatly value the experience we received in the TCNJ Mayo Business Plan Competition. We were awarded the second place prize out of 29 initial teams. Throughout the competition, we overcame many of the challenges associated with developing a sustainable business. This extra-curricular commitment taught us to be more efficient with our time. The critiques and advice allowed us to learn from career-established judges who provided us with first-hand experience on proper business development. Our business model provided fine vintage clothing saving customers the excessive amount of time they would otherwise have to spend rummaging through clothes racks at a conventional thrift store. Equally important to this business objective is our philanthropic initiative to help inner-city students by using fifty percent of the profits from sales to fund our youth mentoring program.

We decided to bring our Gang aka class/mentees/supporter/fans to the competition. This is a visual story of the day!
